Description
I'm Volodymyr. I'm not a doctor or a scientist — just an ordinary person with ADHD who figured out, more or less by accident, that food quietly runs my focus. When I eat well, my attention stays level. When I don't, the fog rolls in. This book is everything I collected about that link between food, focus, and the ADHD brain — tested first and foremost on myself.
It's not a diet and not a treatment plan. Diets are basically a long list of bans, and an ADHD brain treats a ban as a challenge to break. So instead I turned eating into a game: small challenges you can actually win, a system that runs without willpower, and room to break the rhythm and pick it back up without guilt.
Inside the book:
- Why the ADHD brain is always searching for something — and how dopamine ties into what you eat
- The real friends and enemies of focus: sugar, fats, protein, caffeine, water, and sleep
- The trap of skipped meals and hyperfocus, and how to get out of it
- The method: eating as a game, with challenges you build like a constructor
- Plates and dishes for focus, plus a fridge cheat sheet and a ready list of challenges
Included bonus — "The Balanced Plate":
A companion mini-guide that turns the whole idea into one move you can do without thinking. Half the plate vegetables, a quarter protein, a quarter a slower carb, a little fat on top. Portions measured by your hand, not a scale. A print-and-stick ingredient table for the days you can't decide what to make, plus a simple "cook once, eat for days" routine for the part your brain fights hardest.
Written from the inside, by someone who went through all of it and just wants things a little easier for you than they were for me at the start.
